Ry Appliance Research ran 2 Shays in W. Vancouver. This shot is from the same trip as the ride on 1077. They told us that switching a chemical plant burned up the traction motors of all the diesel switchers, so they used the Shays. I believe they were #'s 114 and 115. They made quite a lot of smoke and great stack talk while kicking cars!
