Yes Rayonier ran steam until I think 1967 on the Camp 6 line (It was 7-8% grade in places and the Baldwins couldn't attempt it - also light track as I understand) But Rayonier was strictly short line log hauling as well prior to OA's 1957 closure. Rayonier ran until 1984 I think.
Once again, there were numerous other railroads that hauled logs into the 1990's that HAD at one time been actual logging railroads.
Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but it pretty much goes this way -
LAST USA REAL LOGGING RAILROAD - 1957 OA Oregon American, Vernonia, Oregon
LAST USA USE OF THE DISCONNECTED CAR - 1959 Georgia Pacific at Toledo, Oregon
LAST USA USE OF A SHAY in regular service - 1964 St Regis at Klickitat, WA
LAST USA USE OF AN ARTICULATED STEAM - 1967 Rayonier Hoquiam, WA
LAST USA COMPANY LOGGING TOWN OREGON - Gilcrest, OR (still in existance but not a company town)
Some would give the honors to Valsetz, OR which was closed and obliterated in 1984-85
