Rod you may be right about my memory not being good but I was involved in trying to help the Georgetown employees with more than lip service. Were You??? Click on the link below to see what I was doing trying to get the public on there side.

"It was the "innocent" merchants of Georgetown who sat around on their hands and did nothing to support the former operator back in 2004. I was there and talked to many of them who actually were dumb enough and/ or politically aligned with the CHS / HGI that they supported the change. In fact it was both the Mayor of Georgetown, Tom Bennhoff and Silver Plume Mayor Fred Lyssy who worked with the CHS to try to take over the RR as part of the CHS’ grand scheme."
Once again I could be wrong but hasn't some local politicians including a mayor changed ???? You way of thinking sounds like it is OK to punish people that were not involved ???
"Bottom line, the Georgetown and Silver Plume merchants are getting exactly what they deserve; I hope they are crying all the way to the bank."
No disrespect intended but your above statement makes no sense to me. If there is no train and no business why would they be going to the bank?? I was in Georgetown last month and there are a large number of new merchants in town and you are saying it is OK to punish them for something they had nothing to do with. All the residents who really on city services which sales tax helps fund should also be punished including all the new ones since the take over by CHS ???
As I said before I think the old operator and his employees really got a bad deal and I did do what I could to help them. Because I am mad at the CHS sure does not give me any reason to pick on innocent people. How can you think doing this is OK.
