I think you need a little history lesson. Either that or you have been photographing too many sheep on your camera hunts....
It was the "innocent" merchants of Georgetown who sat around on their hands and did nothing to support the former operator back in 2004. I was there and talked to many of them who actually were dumb enough and/ or politically aligned with the CHS / HGI that they supported the change. In fact it was both the Mayor of Georgetown, Tom Bennhoff and Silver Plume Mayor Fred Lyssy who worked with the CHS to try to take over the RR as part of the CHS’ grand scheme.
Bottom line, the Georgetown and Silver Plume merchants are getting exactly what they deserve; I hope they are crying all the way to the bank.
