Mike,
Nobody in the right position wants to listen or care. A little tourist railroad just off the highway is not anywhere on the scope of state political agendas. Politics is stoopid. Thus all the posts here. Anyway you slice it, the situation stinks - even to those of us that do care and cringe at every new piece of Loop news.
So, an unbroken railroad starts over; a really fine group of people that worked for GLR disperse in different directions; and a lot of really neat equipment waits for another call to duty at CRRM.
Truth is stranger than fiction. Just one year ago, most of us could not imagine the Georgetown Loop in the direction it is in today.
One month left to wait and see.
