firstly "government ethics" is an oxymoron; governments don't have ethics anyway.
...and
"should we let our state government knowingly put peoples lives in iminent danger."
well, why not? Where does it say that only the feds get to do that?
If people feel it's unsafe then they don't have to work there do they? This ain't communist China... not yet at least.
seriously if you have actual proof, not just more spiteful conjecture, then there are channels to follow to lodge official complaints all the way to the top.
