Again people, this is a non-issue! The CHS owns the land. They now are in the process of acquiring engines and rolling stock to eventually run on "their" Georgetown Loop Park. We may not have agreed with their methods and we may not like the people involved but the fact remains that the CHS owns the Loop and is going to try and run it as best they can!
To that end they were able to find Railstar to be an operator (for how long is another story!) and to get Peter Gores to run things! (Point in their favor.)
I would rather have the Georgetown Loop as a happy and prosperous steam operation even with Lee Behrens welcoming us than to see the Loop turned into a bicycle path winding through condos as an expanded I-70 cuts through Colorado's history! This doesn't mean that I've given up! It just means that I'm realistic about what is going to happen and would like to make sure that it goes as smoothly as possible!
