I've stayed at the Chama Trails Inn and the Chama Station Inn and recommend both. There are breakfast places very near both and those work well. Both of these inns have management that can be accommodating on special requests.
Best all-around eatery is the Elk Horn, in my opinion, but I also like the Box Car Cafe and Foster's for breakfast and dinner. And I welcome the addition of Subway to Chama's roster, particularly when grabbing something to go when headed out to see some sights in the early evening.
