That is a GREAT post, John!!!
I learned a lot there, and thanks for the CBS reminder! I recall seeing that and being proud of C&TS. Unfortunately, I was unable to be present at ANY of the rotary runs, but I sure enjoy the video I have of them. I can only hope one or both rotaries will be brought back to life while I can still get out to Chama and environs.
I need to "study up" on the WP&Y rotary plows. My in-laws' parents had near life-long friends who spent their whole careers on WP&Y, and I mean WAY back in the day. Sure wish I'd have had the opportunity to pick up on some stories. Darn!
