Looking at Con's photo, the cars are being switched as the photo is being taken. This can be noted by the switchman riding the lead car. Also, look down the string of cars and it appears another switchman is standing next to what appears to be the end of the narrow gauge cars. Also, at that point notice how the cars are being moved from one track to another. The direction of movement is towards the roundhouse/shop area. Not to imply the cars are going there but headed in that direction.
