So . . . let's assume this is 1938.
Con's photo shows the cars in Salida, but not in a moving train. Jimmy's post indicates RGS accepted the cars in Ridgway.
Would the cars have been unloaded at Salida and hauled over Marshall Pass, or forwarded on to Montrose and unloaded there?
I am assuming it would have been easier to unload them at Salida.
