Just to be clear. I would never suggest that any historic locomotive be sectioned. My idea was there might be several other steam locomotives that could be had for minimal price or donation that could be used. Also that they would not be important to the overall historical development of the steam locomotive or be a rare piece.
I agree a live steamer would make a good substitute and be much easier to display. Maybe one of the many junker 0-4-0s or other small locomotives might be available.
I would love to see all the K-36's and 37's that are servicable be put back in operation.
