Perhaps you're right, youse guys -

But the effect MAY be due to the effect of attacking a 3200×2400 image with the Unsharp Mask at 60% versus attacking a 1020×680 image with the Unsharp Mask at 60%.  And, as noted previously, my geezerly eyes can't see enough difference for it to matter — which is why I hereby suggest a second effort by Olaf, but using an image that is sharper to begin with.  SFAIK Olaf doesn't (yet) have a copy of Photoshop (or Lightroom), so said second ex-Sperry-ment is unlikely to be corrupted by the use of the Unsharp Mask on either image, thus resulting in a more honest comparison.
