This. The OP is just wondering allowed, which ought to be okay.
That said, think about how many narrow gauge refugees are far from home. Whether it's WP&Y locomotives in the lower 48, EBT hoppers in Colorado, a Mudhen in Michigan, or Central American consolidations in the Rockies, it's also worth remembering that relocation usually means preservation and often a second life in operation. If I ever make it to that part of Michigan I'd like to pay a visit to the Huckleberry and the 464 (as well as RGS 260) and thank them for keeping those valuable bits of Colorado narrow gauge in such good shape where a public who often otherwise would have no exposure to Colorado narrow gauge can appreciate them.
