I have a commercial air line that should surprise you, compared to today.
1n 1954 my parents went home from New York to Tennessee to show off the new baby, me, to grandma and the others down there.
Day befor e the flight back the air line called to say that the 3 of us were the only ticketed passengers on the flight. Would my parents please let them cancel the flight and fly tomorrow. My parents were OK with that and we went home first class! Imagine that today! I guess it was a DC-3.
Getting back to the narrow gauge; Don where do you get your wood to fuel the engine? Do you have to truck it down from Nevada?
In the pictures it looks like slab wood or is it split logs?
