Essential supplies for those working higher up - a beer train?
Yard switcher at Lauterbrunnen (He 2/2 # 54 built SLM/Alioth 1909
Assorted stock in the yard at Lauterbrunnen. I think the nearest track is metre gauge - something I didn't notice at the time - the pictured stock is 800mm gauge. After an enforced pause of 90 minutes waiting for the next train to Interlaken Ost (and nothing eaten all day - aftermath of the pre breakfast departure) I grabbed a sandwich at Interlaken Ost before continuing on my journey back to Montreux
I'll continue this series tomorrow with steam
