Now a trip to the Eiger.. An (excessively) early start to catch a train from Montreux to Interlaken Ost, changing trains at Wisp, Spiez and Interlaken Ost to, finally reach Luterbrunnen for another change, this time on to the Wengenalpbahn for Kleine Scheidegg
Passing a descending train on the climb from Lauterbruunen to Kleine Scheidegg
At least I now knew where I was...
Kleine Scheidegg - last change on the way up the Eiger
On the train up the Eiger there a couple of stops where the passengers can get off the train to look out through viewing windows in side of the mountain!
And to prove I got there - here is view out the window of the top station, I've been higher (Pikes Peak) but still could feel the altitude
Next thing was to find my way back to Montreux
