Rich,
It depends on where, and I'm not a particularly good guy to give advice here. I have been active for too short a time, don't know much of the history, and have my hands full with RGRPC right now. Part of the challenge here is not reinventing the wheel, and getting help from some of the old timers. My guess is you should contact Jerry Sahnd or Roger Breeding of the Project Committee, volunteer your time and effort, and get them to tell you want has already been done. As Bill Kepner mentioned, there is some land in Antonito that may be available. Bill Lock has been looking into that but I don't know the specifics. What has been lacking is a spark plug to "force" some decisions, and a specific course of action. The key is persistence and patience...not instant gratification. Things at the Friends tend to happen when one or more people step up, but it is an organization, so there is some networking to be done. Hope you'll accept the challenge.
