I do not have a shot of the trucks under 9615 but the following is a close up of the trucks under 9613 that was taken on October 20, 2007. I apologize for the poor quality but it was taken more as a reference shot than anything else.
It seems some things being done on the CATS are very positive and will go a long way to preserving and enhancing the railroad for the future but other things you just have to shake your head and wonder what they are thinking. This is one of those things. Aside from safety being first and foremost, historical acuracy should come next. I do realize that without the tourist the railroad would probably not survive but it seems that the two can co-exist without sacraficing history for a picture in the brochure or making the train look "uniform". Just my opinion though.
