First off, nothing I say is intended to diminish the hard work of the volunteers. Havinf been there for most of a summer, I have seen them work the miracles that cry out for time laspse photography...decrepid old car, skeleton, lots of new bare wood, voila painted "new" car.
But I do think they are terribly insensitive to their impact on an area that cries out for preservation.
I hope a new CRF will in fact both give them better working conditions and a new place to work.
So how is the Chama CRF coming. I remember Terri showing me the proposed location eight years ago.....and nothing since. But perhaps I have not been paying enough attention.
