John, being in the yard watching the morning train leave IS fun. Laying on your back in the dirt, sun baking your brains, dust devil's is NOT! (Had both of my truck's doors when one went through the yard in 02 and STILL have coal dust in my interior)! Nothing solid to place jacks on, no power, no air, losing tools and hardware in the dirt, having to walk to the tool car, nut and bolt car, wood shop, the list goes on...
The Antonito CRF has us spoiled on how much MORE we can get done with a well equipped shop, and how much easier it is to work. I really don't believe when the CRF/ Chama is built, you will have too many people doing car restoration kicking about working inside. If they really want to do outside work, there is enough building and ROW clearing jobs to make them happy.
