Roger, it has nothing to do with a few missed photos and everything to do with preservation and interpretation, which is the Friends alledged role at the C&TS.

The irony of it is that by using the north yard as their shop, the Friends are destroying the center piece of the very thing they are trying to preserve. They are so focused on the individual projects (and having so much fun doing so), that they can't see the big "piece", the yard, the heart of the "museum"....a classic case of not seeing the forest through the trees.

In fairness, at an intellectual level, I think they do get it. Just like museum and interpretation are at the top of their strategic plan. But from a practical standpoint the folks working there really don't want to move. And since they run the show, it is unlikely they will any time soon.

But I learned long ago that Roger never ever changes his, mind, so this is another one of those things we can agree to disagree on.
