Al, you have hit upon something I hinted at in a previous message.

I haven't met the reporter. But in addition to the misunderstanding of tax and non-profit law, in the past this same reporter has confused "who's who." I believe she once referred to Richard Gomez as President of RGRPC (he was Executive Director for the Commission), and Bill Albert as a Commissioner (he was President of RGRPC).

I believe this reporter also "reported" that the Commission had received a $1 Million grant to restore 463 to service.

Let's just say when I see the Erin Smith byline, I get out my salt shaker.

On the other hand, the reporting in the Santa Fe New Mexican or the Albququerque Journal is generally very accurate.
