This is not NG, but is Rio Grande. I acquired some film scenes that were with some SP I was working on, and was told I could use these as well, and am including as extra footage in our "Last Streamliners Through The Rockies" show we are working on. I was told these were Pueblo, and appear to be early 1950's cause there are 3 steam engines. Can someone tell me about these shots, and engines. Here is the list.
(1)Steam 1518(looks like maybe a 2-8-2?)
(2)Steam 804 backs two car passenger train to depot. First is clerestory roof baggage, then more modern coach. Both are Grande Gold.
(3)Steam # 1403 looks like 2-8-2 switching string of coal hoppers, as a Burlington freight with F-Units is pacing it by the depot as 804 sits.
(4) 2-unit diesel train traveling through what looks like the Royal Gorge. Shot from a dome car. There is a green RPO behind the b-unit.
(5)Shot of perhaps this same train, maybe before he rode it(could be from overpass at Pueblo). Has 5484 leading, and a b-unit, plus a green RPO, and rest is Grande Gold, including a Baggage car. Then it cuts to the end with nice obs dome car on the rear...kind with the coach connector thingy on the rear(name escapes me).
Sorry not NG, but in the Rio Grande family. Nice find, as we have a scene riding the last ROYAL GORGE passenger train stopping in Pueblo so this relates. Thanks for any help.
