Yes, C&TS has big whopping number of 6 public road crossings (all in good condition) and a few private dirt crossings-one for every ten miles of railroad. Most railroads would love that number.
Now, I wonder if the local propane and fuel oil dealers have received a courtesy call informing them that the railroad is soon to be live again so their drivers will fully stop at the cross bucks signs at the wye tracks in south Chama. Safety is the best course. Rumor says the trucks run the crossings in the winter, but that could make a bad habit happen at the wrong time.
