Ride the Rockies is coming... *LINK*

And for those of you who don't know what that silliness is, it's a bike "race" through the mountains in which several thousand people block traffic for about a week. This year, they're riding from Cortez through Pagosa Springs to Chama, then up to Salida and to Canyon City the week of June 18-23.
What makes this particularly important to us is that they'll be in Chama on Tuesday June 20, 2006 - right in the middle of the Friends work session D. So, if you are planning on attending that particular session, you might want to make reservations ahead of time. Also, having been there and done that, I can attest to the fact that you really don't want to be trying to drive around these people (unless you like crusing along at ~5 mph) so if you're planning on vacationing in the area that week, you might want to look into adjusting your plans around where they aren't.
