uh, excuse me....Thenk about the railroad and not about the $$$ they get out of it??????
Just how do you think the bills get paid? If I remember what Kim said on Stack Talk, the railroad will NOT be receiving any operating subsidy this year. They have to start standing on their own two feet, or rails, if you prefer. It's time to move this railroad forward. You must remember there are really 2 entities of the C&T...this historic part, the rolling stock (freight, MOW, etc) and structures,that does not generate revenue, and the remainder that does generate revenue. The historically almost correct passenger cars, but that's where the $$$$ come from.....sounds like a no brainer to me.
