May I add a third response - "I'll take it under advisement". For openers, I think that this is a move in the right direction, but I dislike the shade of red. Looks like a castoff from a circus train.
May I suggest going back in history (IIRC) when prior to 1916(?) the DRGW had maroon (or dark red) coaches with a black roof. To me that would be much more palatable and would have some historical roots.
As a point of egotistical info, some time back I repainted a large scale Bachmann coach in this scheme with gold lettering and it really looked sharp. The model was rattling around from some time in the Chama station and got some good reviews. Roger has seen the model and may want to chime in here with his opinion.
