Greg, I agree totally with your assessment, and the issues brought up by PRSL. Museum pieces ought to be as accurate as they are able, and that includes putting the flying Rio Grande back on the C&TS locomotives, and not in stick-on chrome lettering. I was so disappointed about this last year that I refused to take photos of the tenders. I also note that the paint crew in Antonito paints the trim all manner of schemes, not sticking to any historic ones. Time to act like a museum and look for more accuracy in the paint schemes.
I don't mind if an earlier scheme is presented, but there are other details that changed over time, and unless these parts are backdated to fit the lettering scheme, this too is not an accurate museum piece.
