Also, I knew that Union Pacific used to own all the former D&RGW grounds in Alamosa where the historic narrow gauge used to be housed until the 60's, anything at all left there that a re-connection to Antonito could capitalize upon? I'd agree that Alamosa might be better as a tourist destination that could deliver passengers to the narrow gauge, albeit it would probably be detrimental to the locals in Antonito other than the maintenance employees and the shop being built there..... No offense to Antonito but Alamosa is a much larger city?
