It's Don Richter's board...he can do what he wants with it...and I definitely agree with what he said, and what Jeff said. Narrow Gauge & Shortline Gazette?! A few inches in track gauge doesn't mean it doesn't lack unique, run-down, or nostalgic equipment one would expect to find on a NG line or such.
Plus...narrow gauge is a LOT broader than 36 inches...(arguably, it can go as narrow as 18" gauge quarry railways...such as in the UK. Look at "Gwen"). If you want to be extremely open-minded...some people even use "narrow gauge" to refer to 7.5" gauge live steamers! And I'm not talking 2.5" scale neccessarially!
We can definitely deal with ignoring diesels...no loss there!...with the expections of "Little Giant" and the SVRY 101/D&RGW 50, etc. and historical 'stuff'.
