I'm sure the GLR Inc. needs to concentrate their time and money towards building a new railroad operation rather than getting a steamer for Royal Gorge...remember they did almost buy one of the LS&I engines that was at the Grand Canyon at some point...
Plus...if it has to leave McCloud...I'd hope it would remain in state. Sierra would probably scoop it up for one of their operations somewhere...if Sierra doesn't buy McCloud entirely...and I never doubt what they'll do next.
