Yeah perhaps. i still applaud 60 moving. we all know park displays can be more harmful to an engine than in service at times, just look what happened to the Yellowstone of the DM&IR, it had gone so bad in the park display it was in that was scrapped by DM&IR.
60 and 9 will have a good home on the loop, be it in service or not. As for Coach 70, I already knew the CHS was leary of allowing the other C&S passenger cars already on the property to be used in service...so maybe 70 will lump into that group. But if not, thats alright. Look at the coaches on the D&S. Many of them are just as old as the C&S examples, and they do fine in service.
With the ammount of money the CHS has I dont see the two engines being in peices for years. I predict 9 (and maybe 60) will be done in 2 years. They were being .. completely stupid saying 9 will be ready for next season but even they seem to have conceided the reality in that now.
