No, I did NOT do any kerning, Tank -
Which is reducing the space between characters to achieve a more balanced appearance — such as IMHO needs to be done between the 'L' and the 'V' on the tenders of the D U R A N G O & S I L V E R T O N. All I did was proportionally reduce the size of the entire image – including the spaces – so that the height of all the numerals was as close as I could get it to 24 inches. The kerning and letterspacing (or lack thereof) is unchanged in either the 'old' =or= the 'new' image
; they were only resized overall to make the numerals the same height so that the spacing (or obvious lack thereof) could be compared with at least some semblance of accuracy.
