I met him once, and heard a lot of stories about Jim Marcus. One guy in Michigan told me Jim was doing a movie showing of his train stuff at some railroad club meeting somewhere. There was a scene of some old passenger car in a wooded area someplace with several seconds of nothing happening. Then all of a sudden the coach blows up. Jim had blown up the coach and filmed it. The club members were not amused and he was asked to leave!
There was also a time when Nickel plate 759 slipped and stalled on some grade, and it was thought Jim was behind that one as well. A friend of mine said his widow was looking to sell his stuff, but that's all I heard about it.
I am not familiar with the video company you mentioned Michael! W & R???
