To wrap this one up...
There was a small townsite at Dragon, and a few hundred feet or so across the creek from the mine is a little cemetery. It's very small, maybe a dozen graves. Most appear to have been robbed (!!!), and only two are still marked.
A recent effort has been made towards preservation- a new(ish) fence and sign.
The family of Tom Hale took no chances: his name was carved in this boulder. It's not going anywhere.
Juan Trujillo's marker, looking all-but-new, identifies his as being the last burial at Dragon, 1932.
The Uintah had one more short branch that served the Rainbow Mine but we were quickly loosing light, so we headed out. With any luck I'll make it out there again...
