Hello again -
Ernie Robart sent me another big batch of 35mm negs to scan last month – again, more than 200 photos – this time covering some of the July, 1968 freight action on the D&RGW San Juan Extension. He caught up with the July 17 westbound freight just north of Antonito

Ernie then headed west to Big Horn Peak while #493 was fueled & watered and the two engines reunited with their train.
