Richard,
That's GREAT! If you are able to ride the C&TS this summer, look around a bit and check out the results of some of the work the Friends have been putting into the property and equipment. It is truly amazing how much has been accomplished over the years with voluntary labor.
AND check out what gets done with the small, but dedicated group of employees of the RR. That is also amazing given the often uncertain circumstances under which they operate.
I personaly feel that every tourist or preservation railroad/museum operation in Colorado has something to offer and I like them all.
