This is more convincing as I learn the study that is going into the changes. But you cannot manufacture an antique, or make an anachronism. They just happen by time. The closer the general public get to ride the true anachronism the more the drawing facture will be for the customers.
But in the real days of doing business, the steam engines were not spit and polished, like an engines in the Calif. RR Museum. The first red paint on an American engine, you are out of my ballpark and belong in China.
If they make it look exactly like 50 years ago, they will continue to carry impressed patrons.
