Keeping things in perspective

As Mike Trent has already alluded to, please don't judge the whole basket by one apple. PRR (and everyone else for that matter) is entitled to HIS/HER opinion. That is what freedom of speech is all about, we all know that. Please don't let the multitudes of C&TS posts here mislead you into belieiving that this is a C&TS, (or for that matter, a Friends) exclusive arena. C&TS fans just happen to be a vocal, passionate and energetic bunch and there seems to be no end to material for them to expound upon. Even though the C&TS is by far my primary area of interest, I welcome and read every post about other narrow gauges.
I have no intention of offending PRR. However, even though PRR may be vocal and adament about his personal likes and dislikes, the simple fact is, one person is NOT a majority. Neither is two or three persons out of a group of several thousand. I am not sure if PRR, is a Friends member either, he may be and all the better for it. Similarly, my likes and dislikes are not necessarily representative of any one group. Just because I am a Friends member does not make me a spokesperson for that group.
Just remember to keep everything in perspective. I, for one, kinda like what is going on over in Durango, and judging by the posts here, I am not alone.
