Snow Fighting Project

I am not going to post here anymore, but thought I would write to you before I lose contact.

You probably have read about the D&RGW/RGS snow fighting project I am doing for the Colorado RR Museum. It will be a two volume set on D&RGW/RGS snow fighting equipment and operations. I have received the use of so many photos from folks like Tom Gildersleeve, Jim Ozment, Mike Davis, etc. I have many, many photos of D&RGW standard gauge equipment and operations and lots of B&W narrow gauge, but not much narrow gauge color. I have all the photos of Bob Richardson available, but he did not shoot much color. Only ng color I have now were taken by Tom Gildersleeve and Jim Ozment.

If you shot any ng snow fighting equipment and/or operations and would be willing to allow their use in the project, I would be extremely grateful.

I have written Bill Moyer back channel and offered to provide D&RGW documentation for any standards efforts that he might take on. I am not going to provide it directly to the Friends as I have given them much material that was never used.
