George, it is up to people to be part of the solution by finding someway to get involved. The Friends may be a corporaton, but ALL of the BOD, as well as the the members are all volunteers. You CAN be part of the solution, but you got to prove you are serious about staying involved.

Many out there cannot attend a work session, but ALL have proven they can email on the internet. Getting on the phone is also a possibility for many. The Friends work sessions are only a small part of the time spent supporting the railroad, all of the behind the scenes work is what helps make work sessions productive.

Look over the Friends web site, learn about what we are doing, call the Friends office and ask what you can do to help. The ball is in your court.
