There is ALREADY a diseasel on the C&TS, and it's been there long enough - nearly 40 years -
to be considered "historic". IIRC, back in the Scenic Railways days, one of the trips available
on the C&TS was from Cumbres to Sublette (or maybe Big Horn) and return behind #19; these
trips covered the majority of the scenic highlights of the line - about the only thing missing was
double-heading up the 4% from Chama to Cumbres - and they were well patronized.
IMHO, this is an option that should be brought back - at least on weekends, and other times when #19 isn't needed by the track crews.
