In the later years, empties and a little freight went west and wet (green) lumber for the kilns came east. From the archival materials that I have viewed, it was significantly different before the demise of passenger service in '37 and even more so the further back in history you go. In the teens much livestock, hay, horses, and misc frieght was hauled both ways along with empty flats westward to the mountains and logs and green lumber east. The earliest of years saw a lot of passenger service.
