Mr. Boulware,
Thank you for your post. I am pleased to see that you do not have any connection with "Mr. Jennings". I have certainly had my disagreements with you in the past over your positions with respect to the C&TS, and I still think your activities have the potential to do great harm to the railroad. However, I do not believe that your ultimate aim is to destroy the railroad. However misguided that I feel that you and Governor Cargo might be, I realize that you likely do care about the future success of the C&TS.
I wish I could say the same of Mr. Jennings. He has made it clear that he is not the least bit concerned with the future of the railroad. In fact, he has stated that, in his view, "Colorado does not need the C&TS", or words to that effect. More troublesome is that he claims to work for the DNC and have the ear of Colorado legislators and legislative aides. Also sinister is the fact that he is actively working against the railroad's best interests, or so he claims. I would like to think that he is some sort of "crackpot" with an axe to grind, but, at this point, I cannot be sure. Being that we share a common interest in the welfare of the C&TS, and in view of the threat presented by Mr. Jennings, I would suggest that you, Governor Cargo and the rest of us all work together to assure that his efforts to wreck the C&TS are not successful.
