This post of Mr. Jennings brings up a number of points that should be answered by Mr. Jennings, someone in Colorado State Government and/or the Democratic National Committee. First, if these "legislative aides" were down viewing the trackwork, who paid for this? Was this an officially legislature-sanctioned visit? Tell us their names so they can be contacted and we can see whether this information can be verified. Who is the retired roadmaster?--same questions with him. Mr. Jennings claims to be tied in with the DNC--are these activities and positions reflective of the DNC position? What exactly is Mr. Jennings' role within the DNC? What is the DNC position concerning the C&TS and does Mr. Jennings speak for the DNC? What is the position of Bill Richardson with respect to the railroad? Being a Democratic presidential candidate, does he share the view of Mr. Jennings, a purported DNC representative? What is the position of the Colorado State Democratic Party with respect to the railroad? Do they have any ties to Mr. Jennings or share his views? Does he speak for the state party? If Mr. Jennings is lobbying the Colorado legislature and taking legislative aides to view the railroad, is he a registered lobbyist in the State of Colorado--is he paying for these trips? I think we deserve some answers to these and many more questions.
