I like to would point your attention to a Gerald Best photograph of 5802 taken in 1939 at Rico, Colorado. You can find this picture in the RRobb Stock car book (mistakenly identified as being in Dolores, CO) or Taking Stock. It's obvious that there is NO door on the B end of this particular car. My question is does anyone have a photo of it showing the A end (it lasted until the end of the narrow gauge) or does anyone know of any other car with an abnormal door placement? Remember, never say never on the narrow gauge!
