I would image parking is one of the reasons for the picked location. The picked location really does make sense when you take the price of land and required parking into consideration. Chama is no different than most other tourist towns in that parking is a problem. The commission, friends & the management company and the village seem to have a good working relationship and my guess is all three want that to continue so parking will be a major concern.
