The Big Horn Section House was gone by the time the states bought the line--whether it burned or was removed, we can't blame the C&TS for that one. One thing that did burn was the Lava tank early in C&TS history--suspected arson as I recall. The wool warehouse and the snowshed were great losses that occurred during the Scenic Railways regime. Water tanks were rebuilt with interior metal tanks, though that practice is no longer the practice--tanks are rebuilt now as original--witness the Chama tank for instance.
