I sure don't want a building in the background of my photos of the oil loading facility, do you? 400 ft may be more acceptable than 40 feet. But then you have the handicap ramp and other facilities needed for the 'center' that will encroach much more than just a building, and why the need for 5,000 square feet? That seems out of scale for Chama unless you are warehousing spare parts for the car rebuilds. This just sounds like good intentions killing the recipient. The one thing you just cannot recreate is the ambience of a place and a sense of it's place in time. Keep adding gee-gaws like a center for this and a kiosk for that and soon you have a Williamsburg pasturization. Gag me with a retention valve!
